Transfer factor capsules are a type of immunotherapy that contain extracts from the spleen of healthy pigs. These capsules are primarily composed of peptides, amino acids, and nucleotides, which are believed to boost the immune system by transferring immune information from one individual to another.
Transfer factor capsules are clinically indicated for certain viral and fungal infections that are difficult to control with antibiotics, such as herpes zoster, epidemic encephalitis B, candidiasis, and viral myocarditis. They can also be used as an adjunctive therapy for malignant tumors and have shown some efficacy in treating immunodeficiency diseases, including eczema, thrombocytopenia, and chronic and acute skin and mucosal fungal infections.
The exact mechanism of action of transfer factor capsules is not fully understood. However, it is believed that they work by transferring specific information about the immune response from one individual to another, thereby enhancing the immune system's ability to recognize and fight off pathogens.
Transfer factor capsules are contraindicated in individuals who are allergic to the product.
As of now, there have been no reports of adverse reactions associated with transfer factor capsules.
Store the capsules in a cool, dry place, away from light, and at temperatures not exceeding 20°C.
